B&O announces the Beoplay EQ Wireless Headset at $399


Bang & Olufsen today announced the Beoplay EQ wireless headphone, which supports adaptive noise cancellation with higher efficiency, and comes with longer battery life at a price of 399 dollars. The Beoplay EQ wireless headset launches with a range of improvements and features that include longer battery life, wireless charging of the case, with active and adaptive noise cancellation from Bang & Olufsen supported by a dedicated chip.

Bang & Olufsen also offers a wireless speaker with 4 microphones that pick up ambient sounds and automatically determine the level of active noise cancellation. The headset also includes two microphones that reduce noise during voice calls and support the user with higher quality and clarity of audio.

The Bang & Olufsen application comes with a feature known as “Beosonic” to support the Beoplay EQ headset with a higher quality audio experience, as this feature adjusts the acoustics with higher accuracy.

In the battery capacity, the Beoplay EQ headset comes with a battery life of 6.5 hours, while the case offers a longer battery life, with the ability to charge the battery twice, and the case also supports the wireless charging feature, and it features an aluminum design. B&O also offers a wireless headset with fast charging technology, where the headset can be charged for 20 minutes to obtain a charging life of approximately two hours.

The Beoplay EQ headset comes with IP54 standards to resist sweat or dust, and the wireless headset is scheduled to launch in global markets starting from August 19, with a choice of colors between gold and black, and is also available today in the Japanese and Chinese market in black only.
