Honor has officially unveiled the highly anticipated Magic3 and Magic3 Pro smartphones. Unlike Honor 50, these models are real flagships without any reservations (they are built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC).
The announcement began with the characteristics of the screen. Smartphones received curved OLED panels with a diagonal of 6.67 inches with a frame rate of 120 Hz.
The younger model is presented in four color options, the older one has three - there is no blue.
Honor Magic3 became the world's first smartphone with superconducting hexagonal graphene in the cooling system: its thermal conductivity is 50% higher than that of ordinary graphene.
The Honor Magic3 camera is represented by three sensors. Main - Sony IMX766 optical format 1 / 1.56 inches and a resolution of 50 megapixels. The second sensor is monochrome with a resolution of 64 megapixels, the third one is 13 megapixels, connected to an ultra-wide-angle camera. Focusing assistance is provided by a laser system.
The Honor Magic 3 Pro has all the same sensors but complements them with another 64MP sensor connected to the telephoto lens (it provides 3.5x optical zoom). And instead of a laser autofocus assistant - an advanced 3D ToF camera.
For its new flagships, Honor has chosen its own gamma curve, it's called Magic-Log. Its application promises better detail and richer colors in HDR mode. The front camera uses a 13MP sensor, complemented by a 3D ToF camera.
Smartphones received 4600 mAh batteries. Both support 66W wired charging, while the Magic3 Pro also supports 50W wireless charging. Honor Magic3 Pro is protected in accordance with the IP68 degree, the protection of the Honor Magic3 shell is simpler - IP54.
Prices have already been announced. Honor Magic3 with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory is priced at 900 euros. Honor Magic3 Pro with the same storage capacities - 1,100 euros. The sales start date will be announced later. Also Honor today presented a more expensive model of the line - Magic3 Pro + for one and a half thousand euros .
