Huawei P50 Pro + will receive 100-watt charging, 5G support and an improved camera

Over the weekend, Huawei's 100W (20V @ 5A) charger has been approved for use in China by the local 3C regulator. The charger model number is HW-200500C00 and should be designed for the new flagship smartphone. Considering that the Huawei Mate 50 series is not expected to be released this year, this charger should be designed for the Huawei P50 Pro +.

For comparison, the recently announced Huawei P50 and P50 Pro support 66W fast charging, just like the Mate 40. The Huawei P50 Pro supports 50W wireless charging. According to Digital Chat Station, the company will unveil the Huawei P50 Pro + later this year. The smartphone is expected to differ from the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro with support for fifth-generation networks, support for 100W fast charging and possibly an improved camera.

Rumors indicate that the Huawei Mate 50 Pro will be powered by the Kirin 9020 SoC, which could be the world's first 3nm SoC.
