Ulefone has presented a new smartphone of the indestructible series - Armor 12 5G. Interestingly, the manufacturer is positioning the model as “the world's first rugged smartphone with antibacterial coating” and also as “the world's first rugged 5G smartphone with HiFi speakers”, but marketing aside, there are other interesting features.

The smartphone will start accepting pre-orders from August 23 and the exact amount of the discount has not yet been announced. From August 27 to September 2, the model can be ordered for $ 279.99, and from September 2, the price will become standard at $ 399.99.

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.52-inch screen with a teardrop notch for the front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels, a quadruple main camera (48 megapixels, 8 megapixels, 2 and 2 megapixels).

The 5180mAh battery supports 18W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The hardware basis is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 single-chip system, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal flash memory. There is a fingerprint scanner on the side, NFC, FM radio (without a headset), a customizable hardware button, Android 11 out of the box, and a set of applications for various needs - from construction to mountaineering.

As for the antibacterial coating, it is created using silver ions, and should slow down the growth of bacteria on the surface. The stereo speakers provide a maximum volume of 106 dB.

The smartphone is water resistant (IP68 / IP69K) and drop resistant (1.2m), it meets the American military standard MIL-STD810G.
