MediaTek has just officially introduced the Dimensity 920 5G and Dimensity 810 5G single-chip platforms, but ready-made smartphones based on it are already on the way. It was expected that the first model on the Dimensity 810 5G will be the Realme 8S, but, according to the source, Oppo is also working on a smartphone on this SoC. There is no name, but there are characteristics.
Dimensity 810 5G belongs to inexpensive mid-range SoCs, models based on it will be quite affordable. Nevertheless, the characteristics of the promising Oppo smartphone look quite modern: an IPS screen with a diagonal of 6.5 inches with a resolution of Full HD + with a built-in front camera with a resolution of 16 megapixels, a frame rate of 90 Hz, and protection in the form of tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5, a main camera with sensors with a resolution of 48, 8 and 2 megapixels, a 5000 mAh battery with support for 18 W charging, a side fingerprint scanner and a standard headphone jack. The OS is Android 11. Alas, there is no data on when such a smartphone will be released yet.
