As expected, Xiaomi has unveiled its new flagship smartphone from the Xiaomi Mi Mix series today at a presentation in China - the long-awaited Xiaomi Mi Mix 4.
Xiaomi has long neglected the Mi Mix series. At the end of 2019, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha with a wraparound screen was presented, but it never made it to store shelves, even in a limited edition.
The latest smartphone in the lineup, Mi Mix 3, was released in the fall of 2018 (Mi Mix 3 5G followed in February 2019). Thus, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 smartphone debuted two and a half years after the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G hit the market.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 became the first Xiaomi smartphone with a front-facing camera "hidden" under the screen, which becomes visible only when necessary.
The smartphone is equipped with an OLED screen with a diagonal of 6.67 inches Full HD + (2400 x 1080 pixels), with a protective glass Gorilla Glass Victus, an image refresh rate of 120 Hz, and the resolution of the "hidden" front camera is 20 megapixels.
The main camera on the rear panel features a 108MP ISOCELL Bright HMX main sensor, 108MP 1 / 1.33 '' optical format with a seven-element wide-angle lens and OIS, an 8MP periscope telephoto module providing 50x digital zoom and 5x optical zoom, and a 13MP wide-angle module with 120 ° field of view.

The thickness of the device is 8.02 mm, and the smartphone weighs 225 grams. Among other features of the smartphone, the manufacturer noted Harman Kardon stereo speakers, support for UWB communications, in addition to NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2.
