Xiaomi Mi 11T is the first smartphone of the Mi 11 line based on SoC MediaTek Dimensity

 


Xiaomi is ready to announce its new devices tomorrow at an event that will take place today, August 10th. The company will present the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 smartphone, Mi Pad 5 tablet, stylus, OLED TV, high-quality smart speaker, and other novelties. It is possible that the company will also show a low-cost flagship called Xiaomi Mi 11T.

In anticipation of the official presentation, the Xiaomi Mi 11T smartphone has passed certification in Indonesia. The devices with model number 21081111RG are reported to be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity SoC. Considering this is a flagship smartphone, the device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC.

It is noteworthy that this will be the first smartphone from Xiaomi in the Mi 11 line, equipped with the MediaTek mobile platform. All devices released so far in this series are equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon SoCs.

According to reports, Xiaomi Mi 11T and Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro will support ultra-wideband (UWB) communication technology, which is implemented in smartphones such as the iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Last year's Xiaomi Mi 10T and Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro received some of the best IPS screens on the market. However, this year Xiaomi Mi 11T and Xiaomi Mi 11T Pro will be equipped with OLED screens with a frequency of 120 Hz, up to 12 GB of RAM, support for 120 W wired charging and 70 W wireless charging, as well as modern cameras.
