Despite the fact that AMD processors in the AM5 version will probably be released only in a year, coolers for such CPUs have already appeared on the market.
Cool Server already offers nine different cooler models for AM5 and SP5 sockets (server socket). It is clear from the design of all coolers that these are non-consumer products. That is, these coolers will be offered to PC manufacturers and other corporate customers.
At the same time, most coolers are passive solutions, which are structurally clearly oriented towards good airflow inside the case. This is also indicated by the maximum value of the dissipated power - up to 240 W.
Consumer coolers for AM5 are unlikely to hit the market anytime soon, as regular users won't buy such products much in advance.
