EK, a company specializing in cooling systems and components for them, has unveiled all-metal water blocks for Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 Founders Edition video cards. They are almost completely black. The exception is nickel-plated brass terminals with G1 / 4 "ports. The water block is equipped with two types of terminals, which ensures the convenience of connecting pipes in a specific LSS.
According to the manufacturer, the new water blocks in terms of the cooling surface of the copper base are 30% superior to other water blocks in the Vector family. At the point of contact with the GPU on the inner side, there is an array of 31 edges, forming microchannels with a width of 0.6 mm. In addition to the water block, the package includes a ribbed back panel. It is attached to the water block, further improving cooling, and the video card is completely hidden inside the structure, which occupies almost two slots in the PC case. The kit includes a mounting plate. The outer casing is made from a single piece of aluminum and is black anodized.
The EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3080 Full Metal - Black SE water block costs 289.9 euros, the EK-Quantum Vector FE RTX 3090 Full Metal - Black SE costs 349.9 euros. Acceptance of pre-orders has already begun. Shipping of 3080 water blocks should begin in mid-October, 3090 - at the end of October.
