Nothing is preparing to release the first smartphone next year

It looks like the young company Nothing, created by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei, is really getting ready to enter the smartphone market.

The source claims that the company can release its firstborn as early as next year. This is also indicated by the recent announcement of Nothing's partnership with Qualcomm, and you can also recall that at the beginning of the year the company acquired the failed Essential, which was created by Andy Rubin.

There are no details yet, but the partnership with Qualcomm hints at the use of some of the Snapdragon platforms. Besides, considering the design of the first product and the idea of the company as a whole, the appearance of the device will probably not be the most ordinary one. Perhaps it will be the most unusual production smartphone in 2022.

The source also says that Nothing will release its first external battery, Nothing Power (1), and it will be released before the smartphone.
