Today Xiaomi officially unveiled the Redmi Note 11 smartphones in China. As previously reported, the series includes three models - the base Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro +. The event began with the announcement of the potentially most popular model - the Redmi Note 11 Pro.
Redmi Note 11 Pro became one of the first smartphones in the world on a single-chip MediaTek Dimensity 920 platform. For a mid-range model, its performance is quite at the level - 500,000 points in AnTuTu. Redmi Note 11 Pro + is also based on Dimensity 920. RAM - LPDDR4X, flash memory - UFS 2.2. A vapor chamber is used to better cool the main hardware components when playing games or while charging.
The Redmi Note 11 Pro, like the Redmi Note 11 Pro +, is equipped with a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz frame rate and a 360 Hz touch layer polling rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 tempered glass.
The camera of the Redmi Note 11 Pro is represented by three sensors with a resolution of 108 (Samsung HM2), 8 (with an ultra-wide-angle lens), and 2 megapixels. The same camera is used in the Redmi Note 11 Pro +. The front cameras have a resolution of 16 megapixels in both cases.
But what distinguishes these models is their batteries and support for fast wired charging technology. The Redmi Note 11 Pro received a 5160 mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging, and the Redmi Note 11 Pro + has a 4500 mAh battery with support for 120W charging (it takes only 15 minutes to fully charge). Moreover, a 120W charger is included with the Redmi Note 11 Pro +. Actually, these two models differ only in battery capacity and charging power.
In the Redmi Note 11 Pro configuration, JBL stereo speakers, standard wired headphone jack, side fingerprint scanner, IR emitter, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6 modules. Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro + are dust and water-resistant according to the degree of IP53 and running MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11. The thickness of smartphones is 8.34 mm, weight is 204 grams.
