Xiaomi introduced the first smart speaker in Russia


In addition to the new flagship smartphones  Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro, as well as the more affordable  Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, the Xiaomi Pad 5 tablet, and the smart bracelet Mi Smart Band 6 with NFC support, Xiaomi has presented its smart speaker for the first time in Russia today. 

It was Mi Smart Speaker. In Russia, the speaker works in tandem with the voice assistant "Marusya" from the VK company (formerly Mail.ru Group), which is well versed in Russian realities. From October 22, pre-orders will begin to be accepted for the column at a recommended retail price of 4,990 rubles. Open sales will begin on October 28th. Also, Mi Smart Speaker can be received as a gift with the purchase of any smartphone of the Xiaomi 11T series.

"Marusya" will be able to tell the latest news, control smart home devices, call a taxi and order food, play music from VKontakte, help a child learn the multiplication table, play a game, and much more. 

The column is equipped with a 65.3-mm speaker with a power of 12 W and two microphones, which, according to the manufacturer, will allow Marusa to hear and understand the user even from the next room.
