Smart watches Huawei Watch GT Runner presented in Russia

Together with the Watch GT3 smartwatch for everyone, Huawei today introduced a specialized smartwatch for runners in Russia. The novelty is called Huawei Watch GT Runner. It is based on the 46mm version of the Watch GT3 but has a number of refinements that make this watch the most suitable solution for running enthusiasts.

In particular, the design of the device increases the area of contact with air during jogging, so the watch is more resistant to sweat and allows air to pass through, which ensures comfortable wearing. The lightweight, high-strength body is made of composite fiber for increased durability. The bezel of the device is ceramic, and the rotary button is made of a titanium alloy, due to this, it was possible to reduce the weight of the watch to 38.5 grams (the Watch GT3 has 42.6 gamma). The device also uses an antibacterial silicone strap.

Huawei Watch GT Runner received a special dial that displays the data that runners need: training load, running ability index, recovery time, weather, and others. For different workouts, users can customize and adjust the data they want to see on the display.

The novelty is able to determine heart rate and blood oxygen level (SpO2) in 24/7 mode, sleep monitoring is supported, determination of pathological conditions such as atrial fibrillation and sleep apnea. All of this together provides a comprehensive analysis of runners' health and helps them assess their physical condition in real-time.

The watch is equipped with an AMOLED screen with a diameter of 1.43 inches, a GPS receiver with an external antenna is water-resistant (5ATM) and is characterized by autonomy of 14 days (or 8 days with intensive use). The cost of the novelty is 23,000 rubles. Pre-orders will be available from November 30 at Huawei Official Stores and Partner Stores.
