Apple iOS 15.2 / iPadOS 15.2 RC preview version released

Apple today released iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 updated RC preview versions for developers. The specific version number is 19C56 for testing. This is not far from the release of iOS 15.2 Beta 4. Less than a week, less than six weeks before the official release of iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1.

iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 can be downloaded through the Apple Developer Center, or downloaded wirelessly after installing the appropriate configuration file on the iPhone or iPad.

iOS 15.2 and iPadOS 15.2 added support for App privacy reporting, which is a feature that Apple first emphasized at WWDC 2021. Through the application privacy report, you can see how often the application accesses sensitive information such as location, camera, microphone, and contacts through privacy permissions.

This feature also provides detailed information about the various domains that the application and the website are contacting, so you can focus on what the application is doing behind the scenes, and where your data might go.

Open the "Settings" application, select the "Privacy" section, and select "Application Privacy Report" to enable the application privacy report. You can turn on this feature, and after you start using the app, the data will start to be displayed in this location. Apple shows data for seven days.

iOS 15.2 introduces an upgraded version of the Apple Messages information communication security function for children. It also adds a "legacy contact" function, allowing you to set up a user who can access your Apple content, such as photos, after you die.

Apple has added a new "Can track my items" option to the "Find My" app to scan for nearby items. The TV app on the iPad has a new sidebar to make navigation easier. In the mail application, add the ability to hide my mail when composing or replying to a mail.

There is also an adjusted notification summary to make the summary look more like a card. In the camera application, a switch switch is provided for the macro mode of the iPhone 13 Pro model, as well as an update to SOS. The automatic call feature can now be activated by quickly pressing the side button or pressing and holding the side button and volume button at the same time. Apple has added a longer 8-second countdown (starting from 3 seconds) to give you more time to cancel accidental dialing.
