BOE Chongqing's 6th-generation AMOLED (flexible) production line is officially mass-produced


According to official BOE news, today, BOE (BOE) invested 46.5 billion yuan to build the 6th generation AMOLED (flexible) production line project in Chongqing held a mass production and customer delivery ceremony and officially announced mass production.

BOE stated that Chongqing is the core base of BOE's display industry and one of the strategic locations for innovation and development of the Internet of Things. At present, BOE has deployed 6 key projects in Chongqing, including the 6th generation AMOLED (flexible) production line, the 8.5th generation TFT-LCD production line, and the BOE Chongqing Smart System Innovation Center, with a cumulative investment of over 86 billion yuan. The 6th generation AMOLED (flexible) production line in Chongqing, which officially announced mass production this time, is located in Chongqing Liangjiang New District, covering an area of ​​approximately 970,000 square meters.

The production line is independently designed, developed, and built by BOE, using active organic electroluminescence AMOLED technology for R&D and production, focusing on the small and medium-sized high-end display market. A few days ago, BOE officially released China's first technology brand in the semiconductor display field in Beijing and launched three major technology brand systems and logos including high-end flexible display technology f-OLED.
