MSI officially released MAG Trident S, equipped with AMD Ryzen 7 4700G desktop processor, positioning the living room PC. To this day, this console is still not on the market. Today, foreign media Wccftech exposed a version of MSI Trident S that is close to the market. The appearance is basically unchanged, and the processor is upgraded to R7 5700G.
According to reports, this mini host uses three heat pipes to dissipate heat to meet the heat dissipation requirements of the 65W R7 5700G. It supports 2 DDR4 memory, and both memory and SSD are replaced. Interfaces include HDMI, DP, VGA, etc., external power supply design.
R7 5700G is equipped with an 8-core CPU and Vega 8-core display, which is sufficient for high-definition video playback and online games such as League of Legends. MSI's MAG Trident S is expected to be officially launched at CES 2022.
