Apple iOS / iPadOS 15.3 official version fixes the problem that HomeKit camera thumbnails cannot be refreshed

Apple today pushed the iOS / iPadOS 15.3 update (build number: 19D50) to iPhone and iPad users, which contains multiple security fixes. According to MacRumors, this update also fixes an issue where HomeKit camera thumbnails would not refresh in the Home app. Each HomeKit Secure Video camera added to the Home App has a thumbnail that provides a static view of recent footage, and these thumbnails are usually refreshed automatically on a regular basis. However, in recent weeks, some iPhone and iPad users have experienced issues with thumbnails not refreshing and showing outdated images.

This issue has been resolved after updating to iOS 15.3 and iPadOS 15.3. IOS 15.3, iPadOS 15.3 and macOS Monterey 12.2 also fix the Safari vulnerability that also affects Chrome and other browsers on iOS devices. Once fixed, the vulnerability can no longer be used to collect recent browsing history and identity information of Safari users.
