Google Pixel Fold folding screen phone appeared on Geekbench

Google Pixel Fold (codenamed Pipit), a folding screen mobile phone, recently appeared on Geekbench, equipped with a self-developed Tensor chip. The Pixel Fold's Geekbench 4 scores 4851 in single-core and 11,442 in multi-core, with 12GB of RAM and Android 12.

The rumored Google Pixel Fold will use an LTPO OLED display and will also use Samsung's foldable display technology, equipped with a 7.6-inch in-fold display, and will also be equipped with its own Tensor chip.

However, according to previous reports from analyst DisplaySearch, the device may not be released anytime soon. The report says that Google has canceled component orders for the phone, realizing that the device cannot compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold/Flip because neither pen support nor under-screen camera support is offered, and Samsung has the advantage of vertical integration and Economies of scale, so the Pixel Fold may not be profitable.
