As early as last November, Samsung began to launch a new Expert RAW camera app for the Galaxy S21 Ultra on the Galaxy Store in South Korea. Today, Samsung officially released the app through a video.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra users in select regions can now download the new Expert RAW app from the Galaxy Store.
This new app allows users to use the Pro mode to take full advantage of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra's main camera, ultra-wide-angle, 3x telephoto and 10x telephoto cameras, users can get exposure, focus, ISO, Shutter speed and white balance controls. The new Samsung Expert RAW camera app lets you adjust highlights, shadows, saturation and hue, users can use histograms, and can save images in lossless JPG and 16-bit linear DNG RAW formats.
Currently, the Samsung Expert RAW camera app is only available for the Android 12-based Galaxy S21 Ultra running One UI 4.0.
