OnePlus 10 Pro global version will remain on OxygenOS

The global presentation of the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone will take place in the next few weeks, as, according to rumors, the phone will appear in stores in different countries by the end of March.

Unlike the already released Chinese version of the OnePlus 10 Pro, which runs Oppo's ColorOS, the global model was supposed to come with a new unified shell that combines features of ColorOS and OxygenOS. At least that's what the two companies announced back in September when the OnePlus 10 series was mentioned as the first to get the new unified OS.

However, according to new information, this will not happen. The source writes that the OnePlus 10 Pro will be released worldwide with the familiar OxygenOS shell. It is not yet clear whether we are talking about the classic OxygenOS in the old style or a newer version, like on Nord 2.

It is also reported that the release of the unified operating system has been postponed indefinitely, possibly until the arrival of the next flagship OnePlus smartphone.
