The Oppo Find X5 debuted yesterday, the world's first SoC Dimensity 9000 smartphone, and today it topped the AI Benchmark app rankings. Judging by the tests, the Dimensity 9000 platform is unrivaled not only in terms of CPU performance but also in terms of accelerating AI tasks.
The Oppo Find X5 ranked first in the AI Benchmark with a score of 1,022,000 points. There are no models on Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the summary table, but this platform performs at the level of Snapdragon 888, and Google Tensor, which focuses on the capabilities of NPU, is three times inferior to Dimensity 9000.
Recall that the Dimensity 9000 received a three-cluster CPU with one Arm Cortex-X2 core with a frequency of 3.05 GHz, three Arm Cortex-A710 cores with a frequency of 2.85 GHz, and four Cortex-A510 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz. The SoC also includes a 10-core Arm Mali-G710 graphics accelerator and a fifth-generation six-core APU to accelerate AI tasks. In a number of recent tests, the platform has confirmed not only its high performance but also excellent energy efficiency.
