MediaTek Dimensity 8100 engineering machine test exposure

MediaTek released the Dimensity 8100 mobile platform, using TSMC's 5nm process, with excellent performance and energy efficiency. Eight-core CPU architecture design: 4 ARM Cortex-A78 cores with a main frequency of up to 2.85GHz and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 energy efficiency cores, and an ARM Mali-G610 six-core GPU.

After the press conference, some digital bloggers received the Dimensity 8100 chip engineering machine. According to Weibo blogger @Digital Chat Station, the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 engineering machine is basically the performance of the Snapdragon 865, and the power consumption of the TSMC N5+4+4 is stable, and the game continues to perform even better than 1. The flagship core of +3+4 is fine. The cache process is not stingy, just wait for the actual measurement of the two mass-produced machines this month.

However, it should be noted that the test performance of the engineering machine does not represent the market performance of the mass-produced machine.

In addition, the blogger also said that the Dimensity 8100 is the overclocking of the Dimensity 8000, and the TSMC N5 is also stable, and the performance is further enhanced on the basis that the energy consumption ratio is stronger than that of competing products. Therefore, the latter can be considered for the pursuit of relatively lower power consumption. The lower-positioned products will be used in the latter part, although there are not as many high-frequency versions. After all, the sinking market promotion will eat more performance.

Xiaomi Redmi K50 series, OPPO K10, OnePlus, and Realme GT Neo3 will be the first to be equipped with Dimensity 8100/8000 chips.
