Sony's lightest F4 constant aperture electric zoom lens FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G released

Sony officially released its lightest full-frame wide-angle electric zoom F4 constant aperture G lens FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G, with a lightweight compact design and electric zoom design, only It weighs 353 grams and is priced at 8499 yuan.

Officially, the FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G is designed for dual-image shooting, meeting the creative needs of photo and video users. With the excellent image quality and focus performance of the Glens, and the easy-to-control power zoom design, it is also suitable for photo shooting when used with the same compact mirrorless body. The FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G adopts an internal zoom and internal focus design, and the length of the lens body remains unchanged during zooming and focusing operations.

The FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G adopts a compact and lightweight design, and the lens adopts an optimized optical structure design, including 2 advanced aspherical lenses (AA), 1 aspherical lens, a Super ED (Extra-Low Dispersion), and a 1 ED (low dispersion) glass lens, and 1 ED (low dispersion) aspherical lens, can effectively control both chromatic aberration and spherical aberration, providing excellent optical performance in the entire imaging area and 16-35mm zoom range. The use of advanced aspherical elements (AA) enables the lens to have excellent close-up performance throughout the zoom range, with a minimum focusing distance of only 0.28 meters at 16mm and 0.24 meters at 35mm, with a maximum magnification of 0.23x.

The FE PZ 16-35mm F4 G is the first E-mount lens to use 6 Sony original XD linear motors for focus and zoom drive , fast, smooth and quiet performance provides users with greater freedom of creation. When paired with Sony's full-frame mirrorless flagship Alpha 1, it can maintain precise focus during high-speed continuous shooting at 30 frames per second.
