Canon's new APS-C camera EOS R7 is said to be released in the fourth quarter of this year

Canon's new APS-C camera will be released in the fourth quarter of this year, and the name of "EOS R7" has also been determined. At present, there are no related parameters of EOS R7.

Last year there was news that Canon would "definitely" release an APS-C RF camera in 2022, and there is currently no specification information. Sources say it is similar to a hybrid of the M50 and 7D. In addition, it is said that Canon will also release a new entry-level full-frame RF camera, which will use the image sensor of the EOS R6, and there is no news on other specifications.

At present, the latest flagship model of Canon's APS-C format is the EOS M6 Mark II, which uses an EF-M mount. Apparently, Canon will replace the EOS M system with an RF mount APS-C camera.
