OnePlus 10R / Nord CE 2 Lite 5G released

OnePlus released two mobile phones overseas today  OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, of which OnePlus 10R is the global version of the OnePlus Ace launched in China last week. 

OnePlus 10R

Like the OnePlus Ace, the OnePlus 10R also has two versions with different battery capacities. The first is the endurance version of the OnePlus 10R that supports 150W SUPERVOOC fast charging, with a 4500mAh battery and a 150W USB-C charger. This model can be charged from 1% to 30% in 3 minutes and from 1% to 100% in just 17 minutes.

The other is the regular version, equipped with an 80W SUPERVOOC flash charge and a 5000mAh battery that can be charged from 1% to 100% in 32 minutes. Both versions of the OnePlus 10R are powered by a custom smart charging chip that also provides smart battery health algorithms and repair technology to ensure that the 150W SUPERVOOC Endurance Edition retains 80% of its battery capacity after 1600 charge cycles, which is an industry-standard double.

The OnePlus 10R uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max processor and is specially customized for the OnePlus. OnePlus says that the Cortex-A78 core can reach 2.85GHz, which is faster than the 2.75GHz clock speed of regular chips. The chipset is paired with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage, and the phone features a 3D passive cooling system.

The OnePlus 10R has a 6.7-inch 1080x2412 resolution AMOLED screen with a variable 120Hz refresh rate and a 730Hz touch response rate. The OnePlus 10R has a 50-megapixel f/1.8 main camera with a Sony IMX766 1/1.56" sensor with a PDAF focus. There is also an 8-megapixel fixed-focus ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2-megapixel dedicated macro camera, and a 16MP selfie camera.

The OnePlus 10R runs Oxygen OS 12.1 based on Android 12, and OnePlus promises 3 major Android version updates and 4 years of security updates.

The OnePlus 10R will be available on OnePlus’ website, Amazon, Reliance stores, Chroma stores, and some partner stores starting at noon on May 4. The standard 80W version of the 8/128GB model is 38,999 Indian rupees (approximately approx. 3377.31 yuan), 12/ 256GB model is 42999 Indian rupees (about 3723.71 yuan). The 150W 10R is only available in Sierra Black and 12/256GB versions, and the price is 43,999 Indian rupees (about 3810.31 yuan).

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G uses the Snapdragon 695 processor, uses a 6.58-inch IPS LCD (120Hz) screen, and cancels the 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, leaving only a 64-megapixel main camera and two 200-megapixel cameras. A mega-pixel auxiliary camera, a front-facing 16-megapixel selfie camera, a built-in 5,000mAh battery, and support for 33W SUPERVOOC charging.

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G will go on sale on April 30th through OnePlus, Amazon, Reliance, Chrome and partner retailers, priced at INR 19,999 for the 6/128GB model, 8/128GB The model is 21999 Indian rupees (about 1905.11 yuan).
