Acer announces Spin 514 Chromebook with latest Ryzen 5000C processor


Acer released a new Spin 514 Chromebook, equipped with AMD's just-released Ryzen 5000C processor. According to officials, the new Acer Chromebook Spin 514 is equipped with the latest AMD Zen 3 architecture Ryzen 5000 C series processor, equipped with a 14-inch FHD IPS multi-touch display panel, and the screen uses Corning Corning Gorilla Glass, which is scratch-resistant and has 100% sRGB color gamut, also equipped with FHD camera.

In terms of design, this notebook complies with military regulations MIL-STD-810H, with an aluminum alloy top cover and bottom cover. The screen is reversible and equipped with a 360-degree rotating bearing. In terms of battery life, officials say this notebook has a battery life that can last up to 10 hours. In addition, this notebook supports Wi-Fi 6 technology and is equipped with a USB Gen 2 Type-C interface, and an optional HDMI interface.

AMD launched the latest Ryzen 5000C series processors for Chromebook products. This series of processors use the Zen3 architecture, with a maximum of 8 cores and 16 threads, and a TDP of 15W. The series includes the dual-core R3 5125C, the 4-core R3 5425C, the 6-core R5 5625C, and the 8-core R7 5825C.
