AMD announces partnership with Qualcomm to bring Wi-Fi 6E to Ryzen notebooks


Today, AMD and Qualcomm announced that they are bringing Qualcomm FastConnect to PCs equipped with AMD Ryzen processors, starting with laptops using Ryzen PRO 6000 series chips.

According to AMD's official introduction, through cooperation with Microsoft, Windows 11 PCs such as Lenovo ThinkPad Z series and HP EliteBook 805 series can fully realize the potential of Windows 11 Wi-Fi Dual Station through Qualcomm 4-Stream Dual Band Simultaneous, multiple Wi-Fi frequency bands Outperforms traditional single-band connections for improved video conferencing experience, reduced latency, and enhanced connection stability.
