Apple to open Apple Store in New Jersey

Apple will soon open a new Apple Store retail store in East Rutherford, New Jersey, as the company has opened jobs at the location on the Apple Jobs website. This will be Apple's first new retail store in the U.S. in nearly a year.

East Rutherford is Apple's "brand-new location in the U.S. since the opening of Apple The Mall at Bay Plaza last September."

It's worth noting that Apple did open a new The Grove store in Los Angeles late last year, though, it just moved the old address to the new one.

For the Apple East Rutherford, NJ retail store, one of the available positions is Business Professional. The company explains what the role is all about:

“As a business professional, your job is to drive sales and visibility of Apple products in the business world. You can engage customers with leading briefings and seminars that show how Apple and third-party technologies and services can help them succeed. With the help of relationship management (CRM) tools, you can plan and forecast business performance through account management, pipeline building and opportunity management."

As of now, it's unclear when Apple plans to open the Apple Store in New Jersey, or exactly where it will be located in East Rutherford.

Over the weekend, Apple opened its first local Apple Store in Wuhan, China. This is the second retail store in the world to have a pickup area, which will likely become the standard for all other Apple Stores.
