HP releases new OMEN 16 gaming laptop

HP released the new OMEN 16 notebook, which has improved heat dissipation compared to the model released earlier this year while increasing the configuration of AMD's new processor and graphics card. According to reports, the new OMEN 16  adds a fifth heat pipe, which is cooler than the old CPU and GPU and runs 5% quieter.

HP says the OMEN Dynamic Power feature in the OMEN Gaming Hub accurately detects real-time CPU and GPU load, dynamically allocates power between the two, and optimizes in-game FPS based on current gaming activity to provide the best experience in-game. Compared to last year's model, this technology improved 3D Mark GPU benchmark scores by 18% and CPU benchmark scores by 36%.

In terms of configuration, in addition to the 12th generation Core + RTX 30 graphics card, this notebook can also choose up to R9 6900HX processor and RX 6650M graphics card. The memory can be up to 32GB DDR5-4800, and the SSD can be 2TB. The screen is QHD 165Hz 100% sRGB specification.

The OMEN 16 gaming laptop is expected to be released this summer, starting at $1,199.99, or about RMB 8,100.
