EVGA Introduces Five 8pin to Dual 16pin Power Connectors for the Card King RTX 3090 Ti

NVIDIA RTX 3090 Ti and the upcoming RTX 40 series graphics cards will use a new 16pin "PCIe 5.0" power supply interface with a power supply capacity of 600W. Since most of the current power supplies do not have a native 16pin interface, most RTX 3090 Ti graphics cards will come with three 8pin to 16pin interfaces, which can generally achieve a 450W power supply.

Not long ago, EVGA customized four 8pin to 16pin graphics card power supply connectors for its own FTW3 series graphics cards, and also comes with RGB lighting. Now, EVGA has launched a five  8pin to dual 16pin power connector for its Card King RTX 3090 Kingpin.

The EVGA Card King RTX 3090 Ti Kingpin is now on sale on the US official website, priced at $2,500 (about 16,775 yuan). This graphics card uses a dual 16pin power supply.

Tester Biso Biso performed overclocking tests using a GeForce RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN graphics card. In the test, the power consumption of EVGA RTX 3090 Ti KINGPIN exceeded 1200W, the maximum GPU frequency was 2925 MHz, the video memory also exceeded 24 Gbps, and the bandwidth reached 1.152 TB/s.
