AMD's new R9 7950X processor appeared in Xianyu in advance

The AMD Ryzen 7000 series was released at the end of August and has not yet been officially launched. However, computer players of the domestic second-hand platform Xianyu got the goods in advance and posted the real R9 7950X, priced at 5,999 yuan.

AMD will launch the Ryzen 7000 series processors on September 27, and the Xianyu price of 5,999 yuan ($856) is also much higher than the original price of the R9 7950X of $  699, which may be the price to pay for getting it a week earlier.

The AMD R9 7950X is equipped with 16 cores and 32 threads, with the main frequency of 4.5GHz and an acceleration frequency of 5.7GHz. This processor has a TDP of 170W and is priced at $699 (about 4809.12 yuan).

According to data previously given by WccfTech, under water cooling, the Cinebench R23 multi-core running score of the R9 7950X with 16 cores and 32 threads has reached the level of Intel's upcoming flagship processor i9-13900K, which is 24 cores and 32 threads.

In addition, on the GIGABYTE X670E AORUS MASTER platform, the two sets of CCDs of the R9-7950X run at 5.2 / 5.1 GHz respectively, and the temperature once reached 91 ℃. The final single-core and multi-core scores are 787 and 15824 points, with single-core performance. Not as good as the Intel Core i7-12700K, let alone the i9-12900K/F.

  • R7 7700X: 8C16T, 4.5-5.4GHz, 40MB cache, 105W TDP, $399
  • R5 7600X: 6C12T, 4.7-5.3GHz, 38MB cache, 105W TDP, $299
