At the "Far Out" conference in September, Apple released the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, retaining most of the iPhone 13's design - including mobile phone selfies Notches for the camera and Face ID sensor. Apple also introduced the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, with a "smart island" pill screen to show alerts and background activity, brighter displays and AOD always-on display, an A16 bionic chip, new color options, and more. The iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are already on sale, and the availability analysis shows that consumer demand for the iPhone 14 Pro model is high compared to the iPhone 13 Pro series, while sales of the Apple Watch Ultra are considered fairly strong.
According to JPMorgan's Apple Product Availability Tracking study, the current iPhone 14 standard version has a relatively short delivery time, but the iPhone 14 Pro model still has longer delivery times. In the second week of tracking deliveries across multiple regions, consumers could receive an iPhone 14 in an average of three days.
In addition, the average delivery time for Apple's iPhone 14 Pro is 35 days, compared to 41 days for the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
"Compared to the iPhone 13 series, delivery times are shorter for standard iPhone 14 models, but longer for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models," the note said.
From a regional perspective, the delivery of the iPhone 14 Standard Edition in the United States is 4 days, while the iPhone 14 Plus is still the first launch day on October 7. The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini both took 19 to 21 days to deliver. Lead times for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are 35 days and 42 days, respectively, and with the exception of a few iPhone 14 Pro Max models, most are available for same-day pickup in-store.
In China, delivery times for the iPhone 14 Pro models have slowed slightly, but the lead times for each size are still longer, at 39 days and 46 days, respectively, compared to 40 days for the iPhone 13 Pro models. The iPhone 14 Plus continues to ship on the first day on October 7, while the iPhone 14 ships the next day, both of which are significantly faster than the 21-day delivery time for the 2021 iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini.
Demand for the iPhone 14 Pro models in Germany and the UK is equally strong, with the iPhone 14 standard version shipping in 3 days, not as good as the iPhone 13 demand. For Pro models, iPhone 14 Pro delivery times are the same as for iPhone 13 Pro models.
For wearables, Apple Watch Ultra has sustained global demand at 37 days, compared to 34 days a week ago. The Apple Watch Series 8 is now shipping in 25 days, up from 28 days a week ago.
Apple Watch SE 2 lead times have dropped slightly from 8 days in the first week to 6 days. It is also in high demand for the AirPods Pro 2 earphones in the US and Germany, with the first batches arriving on September 23rd. iPhone 14 Plus will be available on October 7th.
