Apple's iPhone 14 Pro camera suffers from blurry, shaky, and vibrating hum in third-party apps

Some users of Apple’s iPhone 14 Pro series reported that third-party apps had problems with blurred images and jitters when using the camera, accompanied by physical humming. Users have reported the issue with popular third-party apps like Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram, which appear to be related to OIS.

As you can see from the video below, the issue appears to be due to OIS incompatibility with third-party apps, causing the lens to shake itself and make strange noises.

The problem is currently limited to the iPhone 14 Pro series models using the camera in third-party apps, so it is probably a software problem. We can wait for the follow-up Apple or third-party apps to push updates to solve it.

The Apple iPhone 14 Pro series is newly equipped with a 48-megapixel wide-angle primary camera, which supports four-in-one pixel technology, a 24mm focal length, ƒ/1.78 aperture, and a second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilization function. At the same time, it is also equipped with a new 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera (unit pixel size is 1.4 microns).

At the same time, the iPhone 14 Pro has a 12-megapixel 3x telephoto lens with an ƒ/2.8 aperture. In addition, through the 48-megapixel four-in-one sensor of the main camera, the iPhone 14 Pro also supports 2x zoom, which also has rich details.
