China Telecom: As of August, the number of 5G package users is about 244 million

China Telecom announced that in August 2022, the number of 5G package users will increase by 6.27 million.

In addition, China Telecom's wired broadband subscribers reached 177.07 million in August, a net increase of 930,000 for the month, and a cumulative net increase of 7.36 million for the year. The number of fixed-line subscribers reached 105.59 million, a net decrease of 220,000 for the month, and a cumulative net increase for the year. The net decrease in the number of users was 1.05 million.

For comparison, as of August, the number of China Mobile 5G package customers reached 538.79 million, and the cumulative number of China Unicom 5G package users reached 194.83 million.
