Leica released the SUMMILUX-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH. lens, priced at 42,800 yuan. According to reports, this lens is equipped with 11 (instead of 9) aperture blades, and the bokeh imaging effect is significantly improved. In addition, the closest focusing distance has been adjusted from 70 cm to 40 cm. Such close-up shooting is achieved by the newly developed double-cam assembly by Leica engineers. As a result, the rotation angle of the focus ring has almost doubled to 176° compared to previous models, while the lens size remains compact, ensuring reliable and precise focusing across the entire range of settings.
The exterior design of the new Leica Summilux-M 35f / 1.4 ASPH. the lens has kept pace with the times, with almost no change in size, 2 mm shorter in length and 2 mm larger in diameter. This lens comes with a round hood that is hidden directly on the front of the lens and can be easily swiped out for use and in and out at any time.
