NVIDIA 30 series flagship / high-end GPU chips will be discontinued

Nvidia issued a notice to channel dealers, announcing that some high-end GPU chips were discontinued and no longer available. NVIDIA has stopped production for the high-end GPU production line, and the corresponding GPU production capacity is almost completed. At present, NV has notified and clarified that some high-end GPUs have been cleared:

NV has made it clear that all GPU series of RTX3090TI, 3090, 3080TI, and 3080 12G series have no inventory to be digested, and core AIC brands basically do not need to cooperate with NV to pick up the corresponding GPU chips. After clearing, it is time to digest the market inventory and wait for the launch of the RTX40 series.

Nvidia will hold a special live broadcast of GeForce Beyond at 11:00 pm on September 20th. It is expected to introduce the RTX 40 GPU architecture. It is expected to launch a new generation of RTX 4090 graphics cards. Performance, pricing, and power consumption have soared. It is expected to launch the RTX 4080 next month. But the RTX 4070 is not sure if it will be released at the same time.

Nvidia has announced that Jen-Hsun Huang will give a keynote speech at the GTC conference at 11:00 p.m. on September 20, with the theme of the future of computing. Therefore, this special live broadcast of GeForce Beyond should be presented by him.

Given that NVIDIA generally does not release game graphics cards at the GTC conference, NVIDIA will most likely introduce the latest technology of RTX 40 GPU in this special live broadcast.

According to previous revelations, the RTX 4090, the first model of NVIDIA RTX 40, will be launched in October, after which NVIDIA will also release the RTX 4080 and RTX 4070 models, and the mid-range RTX 4060 and other models will be released at CES as soon as early next year.
