ROG introduces a new PCIe 5.0 SSD riser card that can install two M.2 SSDs

ROG's Crosshair X670E Extreme flagship motherboard will be equipped with a new PCIe 5.0 SSD riser card, which can be inserted into the extra slot on the right side of the motherboard. This is a ROG proprietary riser card with an M.2 slot on each side, one supports PCIe 4.0, the other supports PCIe 5.0 , and both slots support SSDs with a maximum length of 110mm. Additionally, the PCIe 5.0 slots have dedicated heatsinks to assist with cooling. Since this riser card is designed perpendicular to the motherboard, it can access more chassis airflow and will have better cooling performance.

The ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme flagship motherboard has now been officially released and is expected to be launched with the Ryzen 7000 series processors on September 27.
