Strategy Analytics' latest research report "Global Smartphone Revenue, ASP and Price Segment Forecast: 2008-2027" pointed out that global smartphone wholesale revenue will grow by 2% year-on-year in 2022, mainly due to Apple's growth. ASP will increase by 10% year-on-year, driven by the combination of, Samsung and other high-end models.
Strategy Analytics predicts that from 2022, high-end smartphones (wholesale prices are more than $300, about 2,100 yuan) will replace mid-range mobile phones ($100 (about 700 yuan)-$190 (about 1,330 yuan)), becoming the price range with the highest smartphone sales. Between 2022 and 2027, the high-end smartphone market will account for 33% to 36% of the global smartphone sales share and 73% to 75% of the global smartphone wholesale revenue share.
According to the Strategy Analytics report, in the high-end smartphone market, the price range of $600 (about 4,200 yuan) and above will occupy the largest share of high-end smartphones, and between 2022 and 2027, the global smartphone shipment share will reach 21% -22% with a revenue share of 58% - 59%. From the perspective of shipments and revenue, the $300 (about 2,100 yuan)-$399 (about 2,793 yuan) range will remain the second largest price range.
