The main structure of the second phase of Xiaomi Smart Factory is completed

According to the release of Changping, Beijing, recently, as one of the major projects in Changping District, the M1 project of Xiaomi Smart Factory Phase II completed the construction of the main structure and transferred to the secondary structure, decoration, clean engineering, and mechanical and electrical equipment. In the installation stage, it is expected to be delivered and put into use by the end of 2023.

The second phase of the Xiaomi Smart Factory project adopts a tall steel structure. This project with 100% digital control of key manufacturing elements in the whole process will be built into a smart manufacturing demonstration factory in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and a world-class "lighthouse factory". The project has a total construction area of ​​141,100 square meters, with a smartphone factory on the east and a laboratory on the west.

The second phase of Xiaomi Smart Factory will launch a second-generation smartphone production line that includes SMT patching, board testing, assembly, whole machine testing, and finished product packaging. It is expected to produce 10 million smartphones annually. The output value is about 60 billion yuan.

According to reports, the Xiaomi project is located in Shigezhuang Street, Changping District, and mainly includes three functional sections: Xiaomi Smart Factory (M1 Project), Xiaomi Future Industrial Park, and Xiaomi Innovation and Research Center (M4 Project). The project is positioned to build an intelligent industrial park that integrates all aspects of intelligent terminal equipment research and development, testing, production, release, application, and demonstration, and integrates multiple formats.

At present, various engineering projects are progressing steadily, and the Xiaomi Smart Factory (M1 project) is expected to be delivered and put into use by the end of 2023. Xiaomi Future Industrial Park and Xiaomi Innovation and Research Center (M4 project) are expected to be completed and put into use by the end of 2024.
