Acer's September revenue was NT$27.162 billion

Acer, a major PC brand manufacturer, has announced its financial report for September 2022, with monthly consolidated revenue of NT$27.162 billion (about 6.139 billion yuan), a monthly increase of 34.2%; the third quarter Consolidated revenue was 64.861 billion yuan (approximately 14.659 billion yuan); the accumulated consolidated revenue for the first nine months was NT$215.582 billion, a decrease of 7.3% year-on-year.

Acer's operating performance highlights include: Q3 revenue from gaming desktop computers increased by 14.2% year-on-year. Commercial desktop computer Q3 revenue increased by 8.0% year-on-year. IT House learned that non-PC and display business revenue accounted for 22.9% of Acer's overall revenue in the third quarter, and the cumulative revenue in the first nine months of this year increased by 15.0% year-on-year.

Acer said that its listed, OTC, emerging and public offering subsidiaries have all announced their revenue in September, and the cumulative revenue in the first nine months has increased by 21.8% year-on-year. Highlights of new businesses in incubation include: Antus Technology Co., Ltd. Quarterly revenue rose 211.3% year over year. Acer Zhixin's third-quarter revenue increased 24.9% year-on-year.

Acer pointed out that the strategy of reducing inventory, improving cash flow, and building multiple business engines has strengthened Acer Group's resilience under changing economic conditions amid the recession of the PC business in the post-epidemic era.
