Open source project Sound Open Firmware 2.2.3 released

The open-source project Sound Open Firmware 2.2.3 was released recently, further improving support for Intel Raptor Lake processors. This version update also improves backward compatibility technology for processors such as Raptor Lake / Alder Lake / Ice Lake.

Sound Open Firmware 2.3 was launched in September of this year, and 2.2.3 released today is an old branch maintenance update version. Interested users can go to GitHub to download it.

Sound Open Firmware is one of the great open-source projects, originally initiated by Intel to provide open-source audio DSP firmware and development tools. At present, the project has been supported by manufacturers including Google, AMD, MediaTek, NXP, Realtek, and others.
