Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 Appeared on Geekbench, Pre-Installed Android 13 System

Samsung's upcoming foldable phone, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking website. The listing reveals that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and will run Android 13 out of the box.

The Geekbench listing shows that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 scored 1,845 points in the single-core test and 5,083 points in the multi-core test. These scores are slightly lower than the scores of the Galaxy Z Fold 4, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. However, it is important to note that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 is still in development and its final performance may be different.

In addition to the processor and operating system, the Geekbench listing also reveals that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have 12GB of RAM. This is the same amount of RAM as the Galaxy Z Fold 4. The phone will also have a 7.6-inch internal display and a 6.2-inch external display. Both displays are expected to be AMOLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 is expected to be officially announced in July 2023. It is rumored to be priced starting at $1,799.
