Vivo has announced the release of its new 45W dual-port gallium nitride charger in China. The charger is priced at 149 yuan (approximately $20 USD) and will go on sale on November 21.
The charger is designed to quickly charge a variety of devices, including laptops, tablets, and watches.
It features a USB-C port that can output up to 45W of power and a USB-A port that can output up to 44W of power. It also supports a variety of charging protocols, including FlashCharge, UFCS, PD3.0, QC2.0, and more.
The charger also includes a 5A high-current data cable with a dual Type-C interface design.
The cable has a built-in E-Mark chip and is 1.2 meters long.
The charger is protected against a variety of hazards, including overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, lightning strikes, electromagnetic fields, short circuit, undervoltage, static electricity, and no-load.
Vivo claims that the charger has "nine layers of meticulous protection".
This is the latest in a series of gallium nitride chargers from Vivo.
