Redmi K40 series smartphone’s back panel design revealed


Redmi is set to launch two of its latest smartphones Redmi K40 and Redmi K40 Pro on 25th February in China. Ahead of the launch, the company has also started taking reservations for the devices. After opening reservations a couple of days back, the Redmi K40 series has already received more than 230,000 reservation requests. 

Now, with just a couple of days left for the official announcement, the company has shared a teaser image for the smartphone which reveals its back panel design. It also confirms that the device is being endorsed by Wang Yibo. The teaser image showcases the back panel, which isn’t a solid color but features a water-like pattern that has diagonal strokes moving from upper right to downwards. This is also the first full appearance of the Redmi K40 Black Edition. 

Both device difference will be in the camera configuration, although both are expected to have AI triple-camera setup on the back. Ahead of the launch, the company has already hinted that the Redmi K40 Pro could start at 2,999 yuan (approximately $462).
