Some reports last week that HP will be launching a new line of affordable Chromebooks in India. Yesterday, a new Flipkart teaser has appeared indicating that it is likely that the upcoming device will be the HP Chromebook 11a.
According to the teaser, the company is preparing to launch a Chromebook on April 8 in blue color, and it will contain a 3.5 mm audio / microphone jack, a Type-C port and a microSD card reader on the right.
And since it's a Chromebook, the advertisement also highlights all the premium things like the built-in Google Play Store, G Suite apps, and more.
It is worth noting that there is a report issued by India Today Tech which stated that HP will soon launch a Chromebook in India under the INR 25,000 denomination. It is expected that this will be the Chromebook 11a from 2020.
Based on this, the teaser shows the first appearance of the device and its specifications match the above-mentioned model.
In this case, the HP Chromebook model to be launched in India will have an 11.6-inch HD display with a resolution of 1366 x 768 just like the US model. And the maximum screen brightness can be 220 nits.
On the inside, it will be powered by a 2.0GHz base frequency MediaTek 8183 processor with 2MB L2 cache.
