Huawei had launched the MatePad Pro device in 2019, and then Huawei introduced a 5G version of the device during 2020, and again the company is preparing to launch a new version called MatePad Pro 2.

The new MatePad Pro 2 was spotted in the TENAA database with some of the main device specifications, as the device appears in the model number WGR-AN19, which is the same version that was spotted in 3C during the recent period.

The leaks indicate that this version comes with the advantage of supporting SA / NSA 5G networks, and the Digital Chat Station leaks reveal that the MatePad Pro 2 will be the first version of Huawei tablets with the HarmonyOS operating system.

Also, the tablet comes with a Kirin 9000 processor chip, and the device is available in 12.2 inches or 12.6 inches, which is a larger size than the original MatePad Pro, which came with a 10.8-inch screen.

Recall that the leaks did not reveal the details of the screen of the MatePad Pro 2, except that the previous version came with an LCD screen, and it is expected that the new version will support a higher refresh rate in the screen, and it is also expected that the device will be announced during the coming period.
