Dell unveiled the detachable Latitude 7320, the latest device in the Latitude segment, with a sleeker appearance and advanced hardware. The computer works with the Windows operating system and is equipped with a separate keyboard and armrest aimed at mobile users. Thin edges surround the 13.3-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels, and the screen-to-body ratio is 84 percent.
Dell says the detachable Latitude 7320 has a smaller space and is thinner than previous models, while the screen has a brightness of 500 nits.
Besides a fingerprint reader, ExpressSign-in can detect your presence using an infrared camera and Windows Hello for automatic alarm and touchless locking functions.
The dual-functional device features an 8MP external camera with 1080p resolution and a 5MP front camera with an Intel image processor.
And there's a pair of noise-canceling microphones, which Dell placed at the top to reduce typing noise.
Dell suggests that Smart Sound technology can filter out background noise, maintain stable sound levels, and prioritize preferred sounds.
You can choose an optional stylus located in the corner between the new keyboard and the screen, and Dell says that when you put the pen there, it can fully recharge in 30 seconds.
ExpressCharge can increase the Latitude 7320's detachable battery from 0 to up to 80 percent capacity in one hour, and last for 90 minutes of continuous use on a single charge.
The detachable Latitude 7320 supports Dell Optimizer AI software, which improves device performance and battery life over time-based on your behavior, says Dell: It is the most intelligent commercial computer in the world.
For connection options, the case supports WiFi 6, 4G LTE, and eSIM networks.
In terms of internal specifications, the device includes an 11th generation Intel processor (up to Core i7) with integrated Iris Xe graphics.
You can get up to 32GB of LPDDR4 SDRAM, however, the memory is soldered to the board and is not upgradeable.
The Latitude 7320 detachable laptop starts at $ 1,549 and is available today.
