iPhone 13 offers an identical wide-angle camera to the iPhone 12

With the launch of the iPhone 13 lineup approaching, many rumours have emerged, as the famous analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo shared new information revealing that Apple may continue to offer the same wide-angle lens as the one seen in the iPhone 12 series, according to a report issued From MacRumors.

The report indicates that the iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13‌, and iPhone 13‌ Pro will have the same 7P wide-angle lens with an f / 1.6 aperture as its iPhone 12 series phones, and only the iPhone 13 Pro Max model is said to offer a wide-angle lens with an f / 1.5 aperture. It gets a marginal increase compared to the f / 1.6 aperture on the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Moreover, Kuo also claims that Sunny Optical is slated to be the new supplier of the 7P wide-angle lens and is likely to start mass production of it by May.

And earlier this month, Kuo also said that Apple plans to launch four models with exactly the same screen sizes as the iPhone 12 models, and since the past two months, there have been reports of a tepid response to the cheapest Apple iPhone of 2020, the iPhone 12 mini.
