Rakuten Mobile has released information on its website regarding certification of plans to open specific base stations for the spread of 5G mobile communication systems.
According to the announcement, on March 15, 2021, the company applied to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications for certification related to the establishment plan of a specific base station for the spread of the 5th generation mobile communication system (5G), and in 2021 On April 14, the Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications reportedly received approval for the plan in the 1.7GHz band (over 1860MHz and below 1880MHz).
With this certification, the company says, we will proceed with the establishment of specific base stations that use the frequency band in areas other than Higashi-Meihan.
