Realme 8 5G phone gets FCC certification

The Realme 8 5G phone was approved by the FCC today, a week after it received the NBTC certification, and this undoubtedly indicates a near launch.

The FCC list reveals that the Realme 8 5G phone will arrive with a 5000 mAh battery and will support Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 just like the 4G version, but there will be some differences between them; Realme 8 5G will be thicker (8.5 mm) and heavier (185 grams) than the 4G version.

Moreover, Realme 8 5G will come with a fingerprint sensor installed on the side instead of embedded in the screen like the 4G version, and this means that the 5G model will come with an LCD screen instead of AMOLED.

The rest of the phone's specifications are still ambiguous, but we are likely to hear more about the phone in the coming days.
